The nineteenth working meeting of the Project experts was held in Kaliningrad. Expert of the Joint Technical Secretariat in the city of Kaliningrad, Kislyak Marina, answered questions of the Project staff.

In the seventeenth working meeting of the Project specialists that took place in Kaliningrad were discussed the issues of cooperation with the organization OOO “Dorservis-Zapad” - winner of the tender to perform feasibility study for the construction of the bicycle route on the territory of the state institution "National Park "Kurshskaya Kosa".

By the decision of the Tender Commission, OOO “Dorservis-Zapad” was declared a winner of the open bidding, held in the framework of the project, for the right to conclude a governmental contract for development of technical documentation for the construction of the bicycle route on the territory of the state institution "National Park "Kurshskaya Kosa".

 

The sixteenth working meeting of the Project experts took place in Nida (Lithuania). Parties have identified the place and date of summing up results of the tender (open bidding) for the right to conclude a governmental contract for development of technical documentation for the construction of the bicycle route on the territory of the state institution "National Park "Kurshskaya Kosa".

 

The fifteenth working meeting of the Project experts was held in Kaliningrad, where they defined the terms of the next event planned under the Project - a round table: "Establishment of the border bicycle route at the old post road on the Curonian Spit - EUROVELO-BALTIKA".

 

The fourteenth working meeting of the Project experts was held in Kaliningrad. They discussed issues of performing accounting in accordance with EU requirements.

Administration of the municipality "Zelenogradsk district" declared within the framework of the Project an open bidding for the right to conclude a governmental contract for development of technical documentation for the construction of the bicycle route on the territory of the state institution "National Park "Kurshskaya Kosa" (National Park is located within the area of Zelenogradsk district of the Kaliningrad region). Bidding documentation is on the official site of the Government of the Kaliningrad region, on the site of the NP "Kurshskaya Kosa", on the site of the Administration of Zelenogradsk district.

Circulation of a book written by known Lithuanian ethnographer Nijole Strakauskaite "Curonian Spit: postal road Koenigsberg-Memel" was purchased at the Project funds. The book, translated in Russian, German and English, tells the story of the famous postal road, which more than for one hundred and fifty years (XVII-XVIII centuries.) was the most important road connecting Europe to the Baltic States and Russia.

It is supposed to use the materials of the book to publicize the historical context of the bicycle route on the Curonian Spit (partially the route runs along the old post road).

The thirteenth working meeting of the Project experts took place in Nida (Lithuania). Russia and Lithuania were engaged in adjusting materials on the tender (open bidding) for the right to conclude a government contract for development of technical documentation for the construction of the bicycle route on the territory of the state institution "National Park "Kurshskaya Kosa".

The twelfth working meeting of the Project specialists was held in Nida (Lithuania). Lithuanian Project Coordinator agreed and adopted the current financial report of Russia; Lithuania was provided with the instructive report performed in the framework of the Project by specialists of the NP "Kurshskaya Kosa": "Determination of the optimal location of the planned bicycle route on the territory of the National Park "Kurshskaya Kosa" under functional zoning conditions".
